.color trend - turquoise.

i'm not one to follow trends in interiors, fashion, diets.. what have you.  being original gets way more attention than following the crowd, and it's more fun to think for yourself!  during my searches over the last few days, i found multiple turquoise spotted interiors that i fell in love with.  i was curious.. why were there so many great inspiration spaces with a turquoise focus?  as soon as i logged onto pantones site, i got my answer... turquoise was named color of the year! how exciting for turquoise! ;)  this is one trend i don't mind following.
